The breakfast terrace was very beautiful and the breakfast itself excellent. The staff were friendly, and the surroundings were calm and pleasant. I arrived just before 22 h, stayed only one night, and after the great breakfast I rode my motorcycle again at 8 h. I slept in a very simple, clean single room with a shared bath, and it was nice that there was a sink in the room.

The hotel sits on the outskirts of Fribourg, a bit far from the centre but with modern, clean, and comfortable facilities. Surrounded by nature and farm animals you can see. We were on a 15‑day Swiss tour, staying in several very expensive hotels with cramped rooms and just enough comfort – this one offered the best value for money. The only drawback is that it’s on the city’s edge; you need a car or public transport to get around.

The room was quiet, spotless, and the bed super comfy. The shower and toilet were very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and generous (optional). Even though everything was clean and comfortable, the single room was a bit pricey, had no safe, an open wardrobe, no TV, no fridge, and no paper towels… We were surprised we had to ask for the room to be set up!

Quiet place outside of town; just a few min. downtown by car. Town itself is very nice. A bit pricey, but maybe Swiss level?
