The hotel looked tidy and clean, but my first impression was bad. I booked a room; I’m not new to the app—I’ve made many reservations and I’m a Genius Level 3 member. At check‑in I was given a room that wasn’t the one I had reserved. The room had no view and no sofa, even though those were included in the booking. When I asked, the two Indian ladies at reception tried to show me their documents and convince me that this was what I had booked. Then I was asked to pay an extra AED 100 just to get the same room with the view I’d already booked. I also noticed that the access card they initially gave me was for a different room, and they quickly changed it. The room itself was poorly arranged. Imagine the TV positioned beside the bed and it’s not even connected to cable, has no channels and no entertainment subscriptions! I’ve never seen this before. It doesn’t feel good to start your stay with an experience that makes you feel like you’re being scammed. Also can you believe that the AC control is in someone else’s room! It was hot and I called for help but no one responded. I believe this place has potential to be perfect but the management is so bad.

The ventilation was extremely noisy, the room constantly smelled of tobacco day and night, and loud music from the second‑floor unit kept me from sleeping—turns out there’s a nightclub there, which also pumped out strong tobacco fumes. We spent the night and left; it felt less like a night and more like a nightmare.
