“Gutes Hotel”
The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the place stayed very clean.
The hotel was clean and comfortable for travelers.
“Room was fine; staff were nice; nonworking elevator is unacceptable.”
A staff member helped us with our luggage when the elevator was out and the card key for the outside door failed. We had stayed at two other hotels in Torrington that also had non‑working elevators, which is a big problem when traveling with heavy luggage. We’re in our late 60s and early 70s, riding motorbikes, and our bags were bulky and heavy, so we rely on elevators at the hotels we choose.

The room was comfortable, but the elevator was broken and the hot tub stopped working, and the lighting around the pool made it look closed off.
Breakfast was tasty, the setup was neat, there was plenty of parking, and it was very quiet.
