The room was tidy, but the shared kitchen looked old and the sink was in a terrible condition – they’re renovating, so that should improve. The main pool was closed for renovation, and I was only told about that after I had pre‑paid and arrived, which was frustrating. The place would have been good otherwise, but the pool closure and the noise from 8.30am to 5.00pm were annoying.

I liked the value for money, location, staff and friendly cat, but the wifi is basically non‑existent and there is construction happening right now.

The pool was clean and the room was quiet, but the bedding and towels were dirty, there were no drying racks, cleaning was not done for the two days of stay and the trash wasn’t taken out; in the evening before checkout we asked the front desk girl to leave an hour later, she allowed it, yet the next day she was told it was impossible and she had been wrong, forcing us to change our plans; also the hotel is under renovation, so if you want quiet by the pool choose elsewhere, and the noisy work goes on until 6 pm.
