When we arrived, neither the shower nor the bathtub worked, and the next morning the water was extremely hot even when flushing the toilet. The proximity to the ocean and restaurants was a drawback.

The hotel is very friendly right on the beach, and the overall decor and rooms are tastefully done. Breakfast is plentiful, varied, and delicious. The staff are charming and helped us book an excursion to Walvis Bay and Sandwich Harbor. Note that the hotel doesn't offer lunch or dinner service, but the front desk will give you a list of recommended restaurants. The room’s heating system is a bit undersized for its size, so it got a little cool at night.

The location is great. The shower flooded the entire bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. We didn’t like that the rooms we stayed in weren’t the ones we booked and nobody thought it necessary to tell us before we arrived.

The place is calm, close to the sea and restaurants, with nice decoration and good service.
