The staff were friendly and eager to help, but our Tribal cottage was damp and smelled of mould; the bathroom needed a facelift, the shower leaked and the door wouldn’t close, flooding the room. The pool was open but unusable because of mosquito larvae, though we still enjoyed sunning by it. It’s not a 5‑star resort, but the friendly staff made up for the lack of polish, and a bit of maintenance around the resort would help.
