The bathtub was definitely my wife’s favorite part of the room—very cozy and a quiet little corner to rest. Grateful for the cleanliness and friendliness! Nothing to complain about at all.

I loved how romantic and cozy it was for my husband’s anniversary weekend! The locals were so nice and welcoming! My favorite was the clawfoot bathtub! It was also very affordable! We will be back! No big trash can.

The sense of community felt comforting after a long drive.

A genuinely nice alternative to a standard hotel with cozy decor and affordable pricing; perfect for unwinding by the fire pit to close the day. The door to the bathroom is very close to the toilet.

We chose this stay for an adventure after reading the comments on Bookings, and it did not disappoint. The cozy mini room featured a claw‑foot tub and a waterfall shower, which was amazing; it made up for its lack of space with great design and all the accoutrements. The fire pit and dinner on the patio were highlights, and we even took out to Santee about 7 miles away, though only pizza was available in Ellobe on Wednesday night. Experiencing the train whistle at 10:00 PM added to the water‑tower‑town vibe. The bed sits on the floor, making it hard to get in and out, and the claw‑foot tub posed similar challenges; we are “young” 80‑year‑olds, so anyone with physical difficulties should avoid this stay. A few folding chairs would be nice, and we had a one‑nighter with no luggage, so finding a place to store it could be problematic.
