Checking in was very easy: call the phone number, receive a PIN for the key box at the main entrance, take the key, and then use it to walk behind the building and open the side entrance. Done. Occasionally you can hear noise from an event across the street. We caught one night that way. Fortunately, the fatigue was greater than the noise.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering a very personal service and fine beds that were super clean. The location is between industrial buildings and there is no restaurant open in the evenings.

Breakfast was varied and plentiful, everything was fine, the restaurant seemed well equipped – Dresen/Ausschank, beer garden, if it were operated. Tangermünde has the most beautiful old town I’ve ever seen. No drinks can be bought in the hotel, despite the apparently good dining facilities.

The hosts were very friendly and tried to read my wishes from my eyes. The small compromises in the rating are simply due to the local circumstances, but you should consider the price you pay – I can't expect a suite at the castle hotel. Still, it was a very successful stay. Thank you for that.

The personnel were very friendly, check‑in was possible before the scheduled time, the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection, and the value for money was very good.
