The rooms were nice, but the bathroom left something to be desired.

The room was filthy: the rug had a bad smell, the bathtub had paint chips, and there was leftover residue from a poorly cleaned room. It was not good!

“Last minute decision due to diverted flight. If ever back there, I know where not to stay.”

The bed was semi‑comfortable; nothing else worth mentioning. The stay was unexpected because my flight from Dallas to New York was diverted to Cleveland due to weather, and this was probably one of the last available hotels, not my first choice. It’s a very dated hotel with a mildew odor as soon as you walk in. The clerk seemed overwhelmed or not very polite. I had a king suite that felt odd—no table, chair, or desk, just a filthy sofa that I avoided using. The sofa looked disgusting; I felt the room wasn’t clean. When I checked out the next morning I asked the morning clerk when the sofa would be replaced; another unhappy employee said, “I don’t know,” then added “ma’am” after a long pause. I told her how nasty it was and that it needed replacement immediately. I can’t fathom how they keep putting guests in that room. I usually leave reviews for both good and bad experiences, and I’ve stayed at nicer LaQuinta’s, but this one was bad on all levels.

“Yuck”

A room was available when we needed one, but it was gross and the shower was unacceptable.

I appreciated the lighting around the mirror, and the beds were comfortable. However, the breakfast selection was limited and most dishes tasted odd.
