Guest house on Gillian Unit 7

I’m even more upset that I’m being asked to rate a place I didn’t even stay in. I became suspicious when I didn’t receive any communication from anyone. I called the number on the way there to get more information, only to find out that the place was no longer available for our stay—even though we had already paid. I’m sure I mentioned that we were on our way there! Now the contact person isn’t even reading my messages. Don’t book this place; it’s a scam.

“Disappointed”

The bathroom, especially the spacious shower, was a highlight. However, several items need maintenance: the wardrobe and part of the kitchen cupboards are falling apart, the oven was not working, Netflix didn’t work, and the gate did not work. The curtain by the door is full of holes and very dirty, and the bedding as well as the bed need replacing!

I really appreciated how clean and quiet it was, with no insects or bugs. I didn’t like that the main gate wasn’t working and that we struggled to get hold of the owner

“Would not recommend as the unit is in desperate need of complete revamp”

Safety and easy access were good, but the owner was ignorant and the unit was in a dilapidated state.

“Place was practical for use but could be better kept & more comfortable.”

There was no breakfast, but the location is great and the gardens are good! The unit has no TV, the staff was unprepared for arrival, the cupboard doors were broken, and there was about a 4cm gap under the door—bugs and dust.
