The location is superb, very quiet and rural, with a walking trail for the dog right in front of the hotel. The only issue was the lack of a RobiDog trash can, just like everywhere else in Germany.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast and dinner were tasty and served quickly.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and nicely furnished; the location above Schluchsee is idyllic and quiet. The breakfast is plentiful, beautifully arranged, and we really enjoyed the homemade fruit preserves. Everything was perfect.
