The tradition of the house convinced me to book, but the cancellation policy feels outdated: free cancellation is only allowed until date X, 00.00 h, which for me means 23.59 h the day before! I missed that deadline by a few hours and was charged the full rate – that’s unacceptable today. I also still haven’t received a response to a request for an exception. A hotel of this size should handle such things better; if your travel plans change on short notice, this place isn’t a good choice.

“Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Wir waren voll zufrieden.”

A classic, well‑maintained hotel with a beautiful, spacious beer garden surrounded by old trees. The staff were quick and friendly, the food was excellent, and the breakfast was wonderful. The room was very quiet, located toward the back, and you heard nothing from the street. It’s right next to the trade fair, so we’d definitely return anytime.

Breakfast was decent but limited. The restaurant, however, was great, offering good prices and attentive staff. I rarely had such a good schnitzel before—thanks! Everything else was fine; breakfast could use more sausage refills and perhaps some bacon with the scrambled eggs.

The buffet was very good, especially the homemade cakes. The bike parking could use improvement, particularly for our high‑end racing bikes. In the beer garden there was only a small, simple wooden hut.

Breakfast was good, but on the first morning it was cancelled; I was told on the landline, yet a day before arrival I could no longer reach them. The TV only had two channels, we were moved to another room that was identical, there was scaffolding outside the window, and the street traffic was very loud at night.
