I was able to spend a night in an environment that felt like my own home. The building is of the same era as my house, and my grandson, wife, and I had many conversations. It’s close to the sea, so early‑morning walks were enjoyable. No separate issues.

“This is THE place to stay in southern Miyazaki. It’s so exceptional that it is a destination in itself.”

Staying here feels like staying in a single‑unit ryokan. It’s a beautiful traditional Japanese house with three very large tatami rooms, futon, an ofuro, and a Japanese garden. There’s no food or staff interaction, but the place is so exceptional that even without nearby activities, an overnight trip is worthwhile to experience the rooms. A great grocery store with prepared foods is nearby, and the kitchen is well equipped. The ofuro looks a bit worn.

I stayed in a traditional Japanese house that felt incredibly nostalgic, and the room was spotless and user‑friendly, especially around the water area. The futon was fluffy and comfortable, letting me sleep soundly. Thank you. The only issue was that the lock box at the entrance was broken, which made me a little uneasy—though I figured it was fine because it’s in the countryside.

The house was a classic example of tradition with all the comforts you’d expect, and the spaces were generous. The owner’s instructions and directions were clear and thorough. Nothing else was wrong; everything was fine.

城邸體驗很特別真的很日式，庭園和內部都給人很寧靜感，加上位處日南區有點南國風情悠閒，有機會想再來住宿。. 煮水壺有點老舊和髒，所以不敢使用，建議更換。
