The hotel was close to many shops and restaurants, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, but the roof in our room was absurdly low—my husband couldn’t stand upright without his head hitting it, and the rest of us had to duck over the beams. We were offered a room change, but only in the evening, by which time it was too late. The room was dark and showed signs of damp and mould.

My family was very grateful and gave a big thanks to the friendly and kind receptionist named Lucy (Huyen), who told us every direction and what dishes to try. The hotel’s location was superb, being close to the night market and easy to reach street food.

The location was great, the hotel was wonderful, and the staff were always helpful. The room was just a little small, but it was great for the price.

The location was great and the staff were friendly, but the price was far above what is usual, and there are hundreds of much better options at a third of the price, plus a breakfast that this place doesn’t offer. The rooms had no sound isolation; after 6 am the noise from outside the hotel and the corridors was deafening. The blinds let in all the light, even one window next to the room door that faced the corridor. The worst part is that I booked a “superior” room thinking it would be better—never mind how bad it turned out.
