Vecchia Verona Rooms & Apartments

“A lovely family room in the centre of Verona”

The room was spacious enough for three people—parents and child—and we didn’t even need to convert the second bed into a sofa. The location was superb, with everything within a short walk. We discovered a free daily room cleaning upon arrival, which was a nice bonus. Staff responded quickly and were helpful. The air‑con worked well, even though it wasn’t scorching outside. Overall, we were very happy.

“Lovely accommodation in the heart of Verona.”

The location was excellent, and the size and layout of the place were just right.

“It was okay but I would not return”

The location was very central for all the sights. However, our room ‘S’ faced the road, and the traffic noise at night and during morning rush hour was loud, with vehicle fumes coming straight through the window, forcing us to keep it shut.

“Zentrale Lage, nicht einfach zu erreichen.”

Vecchia Verona Rooms are situated in the old town and are not directly accessible by car; stopping in the street in front of the building is not allowed. We parked in the "Piazza Isolo" parking garage on the opposite side of the river and walked 10 minutes. Our host Martina contacted us early and explained the conditions. The room was decorated with antique charm and featured 4.5‑meter‑high ceilings. Cleanliness was adequate, and the bathroom was spacious enough. The air‑con was a plus. We had breakfast in the city. The historic old town starts two streets over, and we spent two days exploring on foot. There is a lot to see and discover. From the Arena to Piazza Bra, it’s about 15 minutes on foot.
