“No merece nada el precio que hemos pagado...”
The garden area is good (saving the mosquitoes that pile up) because the pool is needed for the summer heat waves. The house could have a lot of potential if it were clean and better maintained. Check‑in is at 17:00, very late. When we asked for an earlier check‑in, the owner told us that a group of 15 people was coming and that we might be able to enter at 16:00 (which was finally the time we entered) because she needed to clean the house. When we arrived, everything was dusty and we had to ventilate because the house had a heavy, stale atmosphere. Shelves and lamps had not been cleaned in a very long time. All the kitchenware was very dirty; we had to wash everything we used. (It should be added that it has very little useful equipment and everything is old, but we managed). We also had to clean all the plates, cutlery and glasses. The fridge had the owner’s food that we had to ask her to take away. She gave each person a bath towel, there were no hand towels in the bathrooms, not to mention that there was no hand soap in any of the six bathrooms with sinks, which is quite uncomfortable. The chain in the lower bathroom didn’t work. There is no comfortable seat anywhere in the house that would make you want to sit (I’m talking about the small armchairs scattered everywhere) because everything was dusty. In the living room, the sofas have torn fabric on top. The house is full of dried animals, bones, skulls and skins spread over the armchairs. This is extremely unpleasant and even terrifying if you come with small children (like us). The sheets are also very old, torn and faded, giving a horrible feeling of a place where you’ve paid a lot of money to sleep. Add to all this that people are living on the top floor; on Friday night they were moving furniture at 3:00 am. It definitely does not justify the price we paid.
