The staff were really friendly and the breakfast hit the spot – tasty and well‑served. I didn’t run into any issues at all, so it was a smooth stay overall.

The place has a genuine, off‑the‑beaten‑path feel and the owner is clearly proud of it, which makes it pleasant to be there. The only let‑down was the breakfast line‑up – they skipped fresh fruit, which I’d have liked.

The welcome was warm and the breakfast spread was nicely varied, plus the hotel sits just a short walk from the centre. Unfortunately the rooms themselves feel pretty basic – not much comfort beyond the essentials.

It’s a pleasant spot right in the heart of town, making it easy to get around and see the sights. Nothing else really stood out, but the location alone made it worth the stay.

Breakfast covered the basics – a selection of rolls, spreads, coffee and tea – and that was enough for us. No frills, but it got the job done without any complaints.
