Annie welcomed us warmly and the breakfast was great—especially the eggs if you want them. The room was spacious, stocked with a fridge, kettle, towels, a tiny kitchen, TV, fan, big double bed, two chairs, a shower and a toilet right next to the room. Parking was available, bikes could be stored in the garage, and the solar panels let us charge batteries. The room was well darkened and had a mosquito net on the large window and blinds.

The hospitality was top-notch, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the setting is peaceful and lovely.

Annie and Johan were fantastic hosts, surrounded by an array of instruments, puppets, art, and books. The garden offers breathtaking views over the fields, and Annie bakes her own bread and preserves. Breakfast was laid‑back, with no limits on how much you could eat while enjoying the view. We arrived during a heatwave, but the room was well cooled and fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, and kitchen tools. We wish we’d stayed longer.
The welcome was delightful and the location is brilliant! The people are cool, the breakfast tasty, and the surroundings are just perfect. We’re definitely coming back.
