The hotel offers great value and a superb location, and Godfrey, the in‑charge, was a real gem—very helpful. The family tent is wonderful, making a short stay feel exceptional. However, the price could be higher given the location and infrastructure; evening entertainment would improve the experience, and the food, while basic, could be better for the cost.

I recently stayed at Mara Sweet Acacia Lodge and couldn't have been more pleased. The lodge is perfectly situated in Talek, making early morning game drives incredibly convenient. The accommodations were excellent, comfortable and well-maintained. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service from the staff, who were attentive and welcoming throughout my stay. A fantastic base for exploring the Maasai Mara. I highly recommend it!

The location was superb, just a bridge away from the park entrance, and the service and food matched my taste, so I’ll definitely return; overall it was fine.
