A cozy spot with polite and helpful staff, but you’ll need a bike to move around easily and explore the area.
The staff were friendly and helped us with scooter rental, and the mattress was comfortable, but the room only had a fan since air‑con cost extra, making it harder to sleep because it was hotter than outside; when we arrived we had to clean a dirty bathroom sink, found many bugs in the room, and the cups needed cleaning again; the dog there kept rubbing itself all over our bags and the owner wouldn’t intervene, so we had to wash the bag because it had a skin infection that left a bad smell; the shower offered only one temperature setting and was very weak.
The room we first stayed in had a roof leak, the staff fixed it quickly and we received a free upgrade; the restaurant is pricey but the food was decent; there were many bugs, which is expected given the forest location.
