I had already stayed here and was happy to return after a year. The building is old and beautiful, and this time I stayed on the ground floor in a different room. It has a double entrance: from the lobby or directly outside. It was designed for guests with mobility issues and it meets those needs. Cleanliness is always excellent and the furnishings are great. The breakfast is adequate. Check‑in and check‑out were simple. I appreciate the place, but the old structure has a flaw in this room: the floor above is on a wooden mezzanine, which is a problem for light sleepers. The guests in that room came back during the night and were very quiet. I’m a light sleeper and still heard them, but the issue happened right when I entered the room: my ceiling started creaking loudly. They were walking normally and I can assure you there was no risk of collapse, but the noise was audible. To be honest: the person with me didn’t notice it and the guests above went to sleep immediately (I woke up in the middle of the night, probably to use the bathroom). I’ll come back next year but will ask for a different room 😊
