Everything. Nothing.
The rooms could use a little renovation, but the structure is nice. The beach is too crowded and chaotic.
The structure is very beautiful with excellent services and good breakfast. The location is perfect for Playa Norte. There is beach access with a reserved sun lounger on the nearest beach to the hotel. The experience was very positive. It is definitely a bit pricey, but overall the island is more expensive than other cities or areas.
“Viaggio in Messico in famiglia”
The hotel’s spot on Playa Norte gave us access to crystal‑clear sea and Milagros at the front desk was the only staff member truly deserving a perfect rating. The property itself felt old, the rooms looked nothing like the pictures, and there was virtually no customer care; Booking advertised beach loungers for all guests, yet you actually had to be on the sand by 8 am and claim a towel to claim one, and the beach boy from the Oceanvs club didn’t appear with umbrellas or cushions until after 10 am even though the beach opened earlier. Only one lounger per room was provided, so our four‑person suite ended up with a single spot. The beach‑club staff were discourteous and sluggish (it took about an hour to receive two slices of toast and scrambled eggs), and housekeeping never entered before 2 pm unless we nudged them, which was a nuisance for a suite with two rooms and a kitchen. Over five days we stayed in a suite and a double with two families and kids, paying a rate that should have delivered four‑star service but barely reached the level of a two‑star Italian hotel. In short, the team was poorly trained and the service fell far short of what a Caribbean paradise like Isla Mujeres and Na Balam should offer.
