“Bellissima esperienza in Agosto!”
The property is gorgeous, impeccably maintained from every angle. There are three pools spread across the area in front of the hotel and three calm beach spots that are easy to access; the pool and beach areas are dotted with plenty of comfortable loungers. Towels are provided with daily changes or on request. Because the hotel is so large, there’s no chaos—just a lot of quiet, and you don’t have to rush to snag a lounge chair. The restaurant area is lovely, surrounded by the pool, with a relaxed atmosphere; it opens at 18.30 and closes at 22, so the buffet is never crowded and is always well stocked throughout the hour. There are also three other restaurants (Indian, Mauritian, and Thai) that need to be booked a few days in advance and are included in most rates (we had HB and could access all three once). The rooms are spacious and very clean, with daily towel changes. Waking up by the sea is incomparable. The staff has always been friendly, smiling and helpful. The garden is well tended with plenty of maintenance staff. On the beach there are free rental items for guests—paddleboards, canoes, and a dinghy that takes you to a secluded spot (always owned by the hotel) with about 20 loungers and a lunch option, which is very striking; I recommend going at least once. The hotel is about an hour from the airport; we had a rental car and reached it easily. We stayed in August (their winter) and always found the weather wonderful, daytime temperatures around 26°/28° and evening around 18°/20°, with light, pleasant wind and not humid. In short, I absolutely recommend the property. The only minor gripe is that some dishes are a bit too spicy for my taste, but there is a nice variety of choices, including pizza.
“Super”
The setting is beautiful, the pools are lovely, the sports grounds are great, and the meals are excellent.
“Good hotel but all inclusive is not all inclusive”
The hotel was solid overall. Being all‑inclusive opened up a bunch of on‑site restaurants, and we caught a few concerts and other activities that were part of the package. On the downside, the property is large, so some rooms sit a bit far from the breakfast area. The “all‑inclusive” label is misleading—many menu items and certain drinks cost extra, and even a simple afternoon snack was tiny; a fresh juice from the bar also had an additional charge.
“Sehr schönes All-Inclusive Resort mit privatem Strand”
The hotel is beautifully landscaped and we felt very comfortable; the staff were always courteous and the offerings left no desire unmet. Because of the spacious layout you always find a nice spot by the pool or beach. The activity options were unobtrusive, and the food was fine. The hotel emphasizes sustainability, and I especially liked the BBQ on the hotel’s own island.
The food was great, and the facilities inside and around the hotel—the beach, the BBQ lunch options, and the boat tour available right from the hotel—made for a great stay overall. However, the sheer size of the hotel can make it feel impersonal; the staff were friendly but not particularly personal.
