The only thing I liked was the location. I paid 73k for two rooms for one night. The flush in one room wasn’t working properly, and in the other room, lizard poop came out of the bathtub Jacuzzi. I called in the evening about an empty shower gel, but no one answered until morning. We checked in around 7 pm and when I asked for a late checkout, the staff hung up on me and charged us 5k because we crossed 2 pm in one of the rooms. I had reached out in advance about my mom’s birthday; nothing complimentary was offered (except a cake of kos). I had to pay extra for rooms next to each other. I tried to arrange shared sit‑out rooms and was willing to pay, but couldn’t reach them by phone. Staff were very sparse; there was only one waiter at the pool who warned us that any order would take at least 35 minutes. The staff attitude was poor, completely opposite of what Taj usually stands for. My experience in Mumbai and Hyderabad was completely different.
