“Pathetic experience”

I booked through your site and expected nothing but a smooth stay, yet the reception man denied me entry at first and only let me in after I mentioned my booking, showing me a terrace room that was totally inadequate. The washroom was outside the room, near another room, and looked like a shared space with barely enough room to stand. I was then told to walk a kilometer to another property, where I finally arrived at 11:15 PM. When I asked about breakfast, the staff seemed surprised and said the hotel’s breakfast cost much more than what I’d paid when booking; after several requests, they arranged for breakfast from outside. I also asked for a GST bill at the time of booking, but never received one because they claimed I hadn’t supplied the info properly. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had, and I won’t use your website or app again.

I'm having trouble understanding the reviewer's sentiment, as they claim the hotel was "very good" but then mention that "everything is good." This seems contradictory, and I'm left wondering what they actually experienced during their stay. If everything was indeed good, then it's hard to see what the reviewer was trying to convey.

I was thoroughly let down by the hotel's uncleanliness and lack of basic amenities, particularly the absence of hot water. The hotel failed to meet even the most fundamental expectations, making for an unpleasant stay. The overall experience was marred by these issues, which should be addressed for future guests. Unfortunately, my stay was marked by these significant shortcomings.
