I thought the hotel was spotless and well kept, but that was the only good thing. I had ordered a king‑size bed and was handed two queens that were falsely billed as a Marriott Bonvoy upgrade, plus two extra charges totalling $143.34 that I never understood. For a $350.15 one‑night stay, the lack of clear service and honesty was a huge let‑down.

The restaurant was understaffed, with just one manager and one junior waiter, so it ran like a chaotic mess and food took ages to arrive. The manager looked exhausted next to the lone junior waiter who seemed completely lost. Marriott, please train your team and stop cutting staffing costs—this is terrible service.

The hotel was clean and the front‑desk and bar staff were friendly. However, a cleaning staff member yelled at me and at the restaurant I was forced to leave a table while other guests could sit freely, which felt discriminatory. A power outage happened at night with no notice or apology.

The hotel was great, with excellent bedding, décor, and breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant was problematic: the servers were subpar (the bartender was fine). I ordered a tartare that came with a bit of salad that had no seasoning, and halfway through a little worm emerged from the salad. I reported it to the waiter, but nothing was done.
