The food was very good, the pool and lounging areas were lovely, and the formal dining area was beautiful. The only downside is the location, which is a bit remote.

The establishment is very well situated, lost in the middle of breathtaking nature! The bungalows are spread out across the large estate, with no noise at all. Comfort is adequate; the bedding could be better. The staff are truly very kind. Breakfast is good, and the evening meal is very well cooked. The entrance to Sesriem is a 1:20 car ride away. Nothing to add.

The Tsauchab River Camp feels like a wonderfully rustic and original guest farm that pleasantly sets itself apart from typical lodges. The small, simple chalets spread out across the farm grounds give plenty of quiet and privacy. With a fridge and a warm shower, everything needed for a comfortable stay is available. The camp’s unique vibe is especially striking, as you find extraordinary sculptures and metal art made from old objects, crafted with creativity and humor, giving the whole property a distinctive character. We were greeted warmly and received useful tips for local excursions. The food also impressed us and rounded off the visit nicely. If you’re after an authentic, personality‑filled place rather than a sterile luxury lodge, this is the spot. A little remote, wonderfully relaxed, and full of small discoveries – we felt very at home and would highly recommend the Tsauchab River Camp.

Everything was great, nothing to complain about.

We enjoyed our 1‑night stay at River Camp on the way to the dunes. The food was good, the cabins were very nice and widely spaced for peace and quiet, the staff were great and the service was good. The grounds and the recycled metal sculptures were clever and fascinating. I feel it was way over‑priced.
