There was no air‑conditioning, yet the room stayed cool and comfortable even in June when it was over 30 °C outside. Breakfasts were hearty – you could choose a sausage with sides or eggs, plus porridge, a bun and tea. The staff were polite, and we appreciated that checkout wasn’t fixed at noon but matched our arrival time – we checked in at 22:30 and left in the evening, which suited our late train. The location is decent, close to a park and the waterfront; it’s not downtown but a 20‑minute bus ride gets you there. Thanks to the team for their work! The linens could use a refresh, as some pieces were worn, and Wi‑Fi only reached the reception area, but neither issue spoiled the experience.
