The hosts were extremely friendly and nice. The entire accommodation is very old and in a corresponding condition.

The owner was very accommodating and thoughtful, making it a good base close to where we went on a boating bird trip.

The shower was nice and spacious, the bed was good, and the lovely host was very helpful even though she didn’t speak English. The directions were completely wrong. Because the locals had no idea where we were headed, they couldn’t help us either. It was very hot and there was no air‑conditioning; a fan was barely enough. There were no arm‑rest chairs. Fortunately we could put a bench outside our room to lean on.

The room was spacious with a private bathroom, clean, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable; there were two fans and hot water. Outside there was a bench and a small table to sit in the open air, and a common area with a fridge, kettle for water, and one for coffee, plus everything needed for tea or coffee. The very kind owner, Doña Alba, welcomed us with fresh fruit juice and helped me sort out a small issue. The area is rural, very quiet and relaxing, perfect for a few days to unwind. In the large garden, interesting plants bloom and many sparrows can be seen. A short distance away is a small restaurant that serves good food. We already knew what to do, but Doña Alba knows the people who organize river boat trips (which birdwatching enthusiasts absolutely must not miss) and can guide her guests. In the kitchen I would have liked the ability to boil eggs, but there was only what was needed for tea or coffee.
