We come every year to this hotel and book several rooms for the whole family because we’re big fans of the Luisenburg‑Festspiele. The hotel is in an ideal location for the theater and you can have dinner at the associated Italian restaurant right before the show. The rooms are nice and spacious enough, and the breakfast is impeccable. We’re already looking forward to next year!

The rooms were like new, with refined alcoves and wardrobes. The beds were comfortable. The location was exceptionally quiet. The small breakfast included a tasty cappuccino. Getting there was hassle‑free with key drop‑off.

The location is superb. Our real hiking goal was the rock labyrinth and the Kösseinehaus, a truly remarkable, adventure‑filled tour that’s almost a must for nature lovers and locals alike! No wonder it’s called the “National Nature Monument Luisenburg‑Rock Labyrinth.” After more than eight hours of nature, fresh air (the night before had rained heavily) and sometimes exhausting trails, we set up our “base camp.” We expected a great atmosphere, a rich food selection at very moderate prices, extremely friendly staff who even offered their own ideas and suggestions, and more. Finally, the excellent transport links for non‑authorized guests—train and shuttle bus right to the doorstep (Mon‑Sun) both ways—make a real environmental contribution.

Free parking right at the hotel. Staff very friendly and attentive. Rooms were very well kept and clean, with a small fridge. Room spray in the bathroom/toilet isn’t always available. Excellent breakfast, delicious coffee brewed individually for each guest with a pour‑over machine. Prime location for the rock stage (the main reason for our booking). A 400‑meter walk and 40‑meter climb and you’re already there. No complaints.
