“Voor de prijs, zeer redelijk”

The price‑quality ratio is fair; it’s a cheap place to stay in Zürich and nothing more. The room has all the basics and there’s a station on the corner that takes you to any spot in Zürich. You won’t find a cheaper option, at least not that I know of. The owner responds quickly to messages and solves problems fast—within an hour a electrician was on site for a weird, constant squeak in the room, and that was on a Saturday evening. On hygiene, it’s not the best: the shower is a bit dirty, there are shoe stains on the walls, and the carpet isn’t very clean.

“C'était okay, mais, isolation catastrophique”

Check‑in is quick and easy, and you can do it in several languages. There are lockers available for before and after check‑in. The cleanliness is impeccable—super clean. The bed is okay, fairly comfortable. The location is absolutely excellent: 5 min from the train station and a small crepe stand for 3 CHF! For Zürich it’s free, haha. What would make me not return is the lack of sound isolation; I could hear everything, people moving, another girl singing in the Adele shower—fun for two seconds, but being woken constantly by other people’s noise becomes unbearable. Finally, it’s a pity there’s no wardrobe or storage shelf even though the space would easily allow it.

The bed, shower, and bathroom are reasonable and the place is pretty clean, but the room smelled of smoke and a chair would have been nice.
