The location was good, but the stairs were very steep, the ceiling low, and windows barely opened; I had booked a twin room but the Ballarò room only had a double bed, only face towels were provided, and the floor wasn’t spotless.

The building sits in a well‑lit, clean alley in the heart of old Palermo; I stayed in the Capo room for one night and found it very cozy and stylish, with a minimal shared bathroom that felt a bit outdated compared to the other rooms, which were well‑crafted and offered interesting views of historic Palermo; the location is perfect for waking up a stone’s throw from the sea and exploring La Cala, Kalsa and Loggia; however, the rooms are reached via rather steep stairs, which I’d advise against if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage.
