The mattresses were good and my back didn’t complain. The room was quiet, and the windows shut tightly during street festivals. The restaurant served excellent Franconian dishes, and in season the carp dishes were first‑class. I stay here twice a year for three nights as a base for my motorcycle tours. I can’t think of any negatives.

The staff were friendly, the village had a cozy vibe, and the food was good if you order the right dishes.

We had a great time there because everything fit: a quiet location in a well‑maintained area, a room with a bed that met all our expectations, a large roof terrace appreciated on the beautiful weather, a decent breakfast, and an evening restaurant visit that confirmed the family runs this place with exemplary care for guests who want to return.
