The pub had a really nice vibe and the rooms were finished to a high standard, but the morning staff weren’t as friendly or helpful as I had experienced before at this location.

The setting was nice and the accommodation comfortable, yet several electrical appliances didn’t work—like the bedside light and socket—and the fire alarm went off at 2am.

The rooms were comfortable and modern, the staff friendly, and the breakfast great, though it got a little noisy before the pub downstairs closed, which wasn’t a major issue.

The room and bar were nicely decorated, up together and very comfortable. Staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast - we had 3 of the avocado and egg on toast - there was only 2 of us and the third one was ordered as the portions were on the small side, especially compared to the other breakfasts in our party (full English, pancakes, etc)
