The owners are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to give us loads of tips about La Fortuna. One night they even pointed out a sloth hanging in a tree right outside the hostel, which was a fun surprise. All in all, a pleasant stay with great hosts and a cute wildlife encounter.

Thanks for the warm welcome – the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. However, by 2 am the noise level got pretty high, making it hard to get any sleep. A little more respect for quiet hours would improve the stay.
