“Charaghter building”
The breakfast was cozy and great, but the walk back from town is steep even though you pass through a lovely park.

The room was very small, the bathtub unfortunately was missing, but the location was good, the breakfast excellent, and the staff friendly.

The location was perfect for our stay, close to everything with a great view; breakfast was tasty every time with decent portions, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, so I’d highly recommend it and would stay again if I were in the area.

Staff = Very helpful. Food = Excellent & a good breakfast choice. Honesty bar at night. Lounge area = Fine Parking = Available and free. Location - Fine however a steep hill to negotiate back from the town which will be an issue for some. Room 9 = Poor. Very dated and in need of some TLC. Broken wardrobe, torn net curtain, curtains themselves old and tired, Wall behind bed had grease stains from previous guests heads. The bed was very noisy. Chairs were old uncomfortable wicker ones. the table for the kettle, cups, tea and coffee was way too small for its intended purpose. A small table in the window bay would be practical so that you could place a cup. The en-suite was tiny which is ok for us but would have been an issue for elderly or larger people. The extractor fan didn't work which is probably why there was black mould on the ceiling and top of the shower cubicle. The shower hose hung across the cubicle so it was in the way when showering. One small bottle of shower gel and two shampoo on arrival but none replaced during a three night stay. All in all a strange one because the age and listed status of the property make it quirky but theres no excuse for tired fixtures and fittings. Tired Room
