The electronic lock on the door didn’t work, so we couldn’t lock the room when we left, and the front‑desk gentleman just told us not to leave valuables inside and that it would be fine, even though the problem didn’t look like a one‑day issue. When we finally got inside the room was filthy – the floor was black with dirt, spider webs covered the corners and the countertop, the coffee cup had a layer of dust, the bathroom floor was dirty, and the slippers were damp with sewage. This was far beyond a simple cleaning miss; it seemed the room hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It was my second stay here and the experience was so poor I now doubt who runs the place and I won’t return.
