The location was fine, but we ended up in a room with an unattached washroom even though we booked one with an attached washroom, and the fan wasn’t working.

I found no room cleaning, no electricity, no working fan, and the water tap was disappointing.

The hotel sits well near the train and bus stations and isn’t too noisy because it’s away from a main road. I chose a non‑AC room, which felt stuffy at times, but otherwise everything met my expectations.

My family and I stayed for two days in two rooms at Safire, one of the old residencies in Trivandrum; despite its age, the place is kept neat and clean, with clean beds, bedsheets, and pillows, and the toilet and bathroom are usable—good value for money. The check‑out was very strict, only hamam soap was provided while toothbrushes and paste were missing, so guests need to bring their own bathroom kits; there is also no room service. Still, my family’s stay was safe and satisfactory.
