I received a room upgrade, and the breakfast and staff service were excellent. I could have gotten a better view, especially since I paid extra for an ocean view.

The hotel is so far from the city that you have to take a taxi from the hotel itself. If you try to book a taxi through an app, they’ll block you from reaching the hotel. They also say the spa is free, but when you actually book treatments, they’ll charge you—starting at about $150 for any body treatment. Meal prices are over 400% higher than the same dishes elsewhere. They shut off all lights near the beach and around the hotel after sunset, so there’s no nightlife at all.
