The location is great. The AC and fan don’t cooperate well (though I might not have tried adjusting them enough). For a double room, adding a chain is recommended.

The hostel was clean and located on a very quiet street, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The pods were nice and private, and there was a comfortable lounge on the ground floor. Complimentary tea and water were always available, and the bathrooms and showers were separated by gender. The town was small, with a few restaurants on the main street. However, it was quite pricey for a Taiwanese hostel, and the breakfast could have offered more variety for that cost.
