I’d gladly leave a review for Pensiunea Cascada Putnei; first of all, the staff were very responsive and attentive, without unnecessary questions or pushiness—though I don’t know their names, the young man and his two young colleagues were great; the room’s cleanliness impressed me, the interior was tasteful, everything was impeccable; the common area on the floor was also impeccable, the furniture and décor were all tasteful, and they even offered board games like chess, which shows how well thought out everything is; it’s very convenient that the hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy a tasty breakfast and pre‑order food that will be ready when you return from a walk—such convenience! Thank you very much for the conditions; we’ll gladly return and I confidently recommend it. On the downside, besides many positives, I’d like to share what didn’t appeal to me (this is a matter of taste): while the rooms are impeccable and tasteful, the restaurant has a lot of excess that distracts from enjoying nature—there are many artificial flowers hanging on windows and in vase arrangements on tables; the décor could use real flowers or natural material elements; there was no play area, but we thought it might be added later since the hotel had various equipment suggesting that landscaping work is still in progress. The spot is amazing right next to Cascada Putnei, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. Parking is plenty. The room was warm and cozy even though there were few tourists. The restaurant offered a lot of food choices, I tried several dishes and they were tasty. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price and the only option was omelets, which was a bit limited but still acceptable.
