“Very central to all the sites”
The location is good, the breakfast is nice, and the rooms are a decent size.

The hotel sits right in the city centre and the staff were friendly, but the shower fixtures were broken.

The breakfast was mostly sweet, the little lounge was cozy, the central location was perfect for exploring the city, the room was very clean, and we were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel on the last day before taking the train. There was a constant background noise, perhaps a water pump or a fridge.

The location was great and the place was clean, yet we stayed in Room 6 for two nights and were kept awake both nights by a loud, vibrating humming noise coming from plumbing/mechanical equipment right outside our door. It triggered every time a toilet was flushed nearby and went on sporadically all night, both nights. We tried to reach the front desk in person on two separate occasions, once in the evening, once the next morning, and no one was there. We later learned from a cleaner that reception is only staffed a few hours a day, which made it impossible to report the issue in real time. We messaged the property directly with video evidence of the noise. Their response was to claim they’d “checked and heard nothing,” then to argue the video “didn’t count” because it was recorded from outside the room. They refused any refund. Two nights of lost sleep, an unreachable front desk, and a property that dismissed clear video evidence rather than take responsibility. We would not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who needs a decent night’s sleep.
