The staff were friendly and helpful, everything ran smoothly – cleanliness, breakfast and dinner, and the rooms had been renovated with nice bathrooms. The pool is small but nice, and there’s a sauna. The nights were quiet. The curtains could be darker.

A lovely hotel right in the heart of the Black Forest, with spacious rooms that have good beds and blinds to keep the windows dark. The breakfast was fine, and there’s a covered pool and a sauna you can use. You can also have dinner there if you want, though we didn’t. The only downside was that breakfast only starts at 8 am, which feels a bit late if you’re planning to leave early.

We liked the welcome from one of the staff members, who was very friendly, as was the chef. The pool was nice and the hotel is peaceful. The quality of breakfast and dinner was good, the room was spacious and the bedding was nice. One staff member seemed rushed and wanted us to order our meal or dessert quickly (the restaurant is open from 18:00 to 20:00, we arrived at 19:30). The pillow was a bit small.
