The location was gorgeous, right on the beach in a quiet setting, and the staff were friendly, but the place felt unfinished. On the second day the hotel driver took us to the beach; he seemed inattentive, probably high, and drove us past another car. Luckily nothing happened, but it was irresponsible. On the way back he was still high with another hotel employee. That was disappointing because the rest of the staff were nice and tried their best, even though not everyone spoke English. We were told we were likely the last guests of the season, which gave the place a strange vibe, as if we were on an abandoned site where the staff were not entirely serious.

The staff were friendly, but the facilities need some upkeep, especially the entrance road.

Quiet paradise near Santa Catalina with nicely decorated room, beautiful 'infinity' pool, good Panamanian food and a picturesque beach. Great to enjoy a stroll along the beach, which is very wide at ebb tide, and relax at the pool. The eco‑friendly pool has low salt content (still considered fresh water) to keep it clean, which avoids chloride and makes swimming a delight. At sunset we could spot a croc in the distance in the river (he did not spot us :-)).

The pool is gorgeous and the facilities could become a great spot, but the real highlight is the huge beach and the river mouth where you can take a long walk and watch birds like herons, storks, pelicans, and kites—absolutely amazing. The restaurant could offer more variety since it’s far from other dining options, and the entrance to the premises also needs improvement.
