“An eye opening experience, which now seems surreal in retrospect. Dark, frightening, and miserable”

The room had a kitchenette, but there were cockroaches, a broken microwave, dents in the ceiling apparently from someone hitting it with a broom handle, mold in the bathroom, and the staff would blame you for any prior damage no matter how insignificant; you must report all damage to management immediately upon entering, or you’ll be charged even if it was caused by someone else before you rented. Every guest has a dog and most are not on leashes (beware if you have small children). People sleep in their cars in the parking lot for weeks, and prostitutes and drug dealers approach guests outside the hotel without shame.

The staff were not accommodating at all; they didn't inform me beforehand that the hotel was fully booked and had no room available.

The place was filthy and the guests were odd, with blood splattered on the floor and beds that were downright uncomfortable, and that was just the start of the problems.

The location was good, the room was ample, the microwave was clean, the fridge was clean. The bed itself was comfortable. The bathroom was large. Part 2 - 9/11/26 - I called the front desk about the towels again. I was asked to bring the dirty towels to front to get new towels even though i stated i just had surgery. So i marched down and they gave me 3 towels no wash cloth. Dirty bed sheets still in the hallway when i left. I know that not every room was rented, they could have spared 2 extra pillows. Part 1 - 9/9-9/10 - My stay was 9/9 - 9/11/26. To start off the Coroner van was there. I came to stay near the hospital (post surgery). There was a fishy smell in the hallway across my room from bedsheetsthat were there for the durationof my stay and more. The AC/blinds were dirty. The room had a smell that I had to go buy febreze. The pillows were kid size. It was 3 of us we only got towels for 2. There were a lot of shady people there. I asked for room service and was told they only do it after 14 days because they are a long stay hotel hence the shady people. I asked for extra towels and pillows, was told I'd get them but never got them. They have free coffee no cups. If someone had come I could have gotten toilet paper but we ran out of it. People yelling in the halls. I surely didn't get rest
