The host was very friendly and the family welcoming. They speak both Russian and English, which was great. Breakfast and dinner are offered for a fee; we paid 1200 com for dinner for two, which is a bit pricey compared to the rest of Kyrgyzstan, but it felt authentic. Beware of bad Wi‑Fi – the host can fix it if you ask, but most of the time we had no connection – and the beds are hard. Also, the description said “ski to hotel,” which isn’t true; you need a car to reach the mountains.
