The restaurant is downstairs in the building. Good location. It was cold (outside temperature 17 °C), even in the bathroom. Simple, no‑frills breakfast. No lift to the second floor.

I stayed right in the city centre, but there was no lift.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the kitchen was excellent, yet the front‑side room suffered from a lot of street noise and had neglected maintenance like a torn curtain and a shower cabin that didn’t seal properly.

The bar and restaurant close in the afternoon.

We arrived on Tuesday and wanted to dine there in the evening, but unfortunately they were closed on Tuesdays, so we had to look for a restaurant, which was a bit of a hassle in Kleve.
