The photos match the place exactly, the beds are comfortable, and the outdoor tables with lights give the spot a special touch; everything is very clean, the centre is a 10‑15 minute walk away, and nearby markets and restaurants are convenient. The staff were very kind and helped me stash my luggage for a couple of hours while I waited for my transfer, but the room Wi‑Fi doesn’t work very well.

The place was super quiet, and even though I only stayed for two days during the week, I really managed to get some rest. Nothing went wrong, everything met the expectations I had.

The dependency you feel with the place is strong. The infrastructure could use some improvement: the door hinges, the closet—small things that waste time.

I booked through Booking on the 18th, as shown in the screenshot, with a request to arrive Wednesday the 22nd between 20–21 pm. On the 19th I received confirmation that the host had approved my request. When I arrived on Wednesday the 22nd, everything was turned off. I called the number left in the Booking email and found out they weren't expecting us because, according to José (the owner, I assume), he had platform problems. He left a key outside on the street and told us to go to room 06, where the key was on the door. The room was dirty, the bed was unmade, towels were scattered on the floor, and the bathroom trash bin was full of paper. Since it was late and we hadn't paid anything yet, we decided to stay and see if we could find another place the next morning. The next morning the landlord arrived, and we only paid for two nights, not the ones we had originally planned to stay. On Thursday night around 10:30 pm, they tried to force entry (we were the only guests); they tried to break the window of the room we were in, the police removed us from the place, José was absent and we called him to tell him they tried to break in, but he couldn't answer until the next day when we asked about the key.
