The only good thing about these apartments was the quiet surroundings and the comfortable bed. When we arrived there were no towels; the owner asked if we had our own, then after two hours brought old towels that smelled of cheap air‑conditioning, so the room had nothing to breathe; on the balcony they didn’t dry because of the dampness, and the radiators were barely warm. The kitchen, located in the basement, had a non‑working microwave, we weren’t allowed to bring wood to make a grill for two people, the nearest supermarket was 1.5 km away, and walking to the city centre took 45 minutes – these were the worst apartments we booked in Karpaty.

The room was cozy, tidy and the kitchenette had a microwave, stove and all the kitchenware exactly as described. The villa’s heating didn’t work, so evenings and nights were a bit chilly; the owner claimed the rooms were 21 °C and the stove wouldn’t turn on, but at 5–6 °C outside and certainly not 21 °C inside we slept in socks and T‑shirts.

Parking was in front of the building under trees that dripped resin, and the car had to be cleaned afterward.
