“Aesthetic stay and attentive staff”

The hotel looks stunning, with a very aesthetic design. I booked a villa with a pool and loved swimming privately while watching birds and lizards in the lovely garden outside. The restaurant serves high‑quality Japanese dishes and drinks, and the coffee is excellent. Service is attentive, and the WhatsApp communication is quick and responsive. The shuttle drivers were especially friendly and engaging, especially on my second day, and the service was very convenient. Lia at reception was kind, and housekeeping kept the room spotless. The shower had great hot water and pressure. I do think the staff are still learning how to balance good service with being overbearing. The managers seem to push the staff to do this, so it isn’t entirely their fault. At my last breakfast they tried to get me to leave a review while I was still sipping a drink, even though I told them I couldn’t review until checkout. When I said that, they asked to see the app to confirm. They were also persistent about the review at checkout, which made me feel a little pressured. On the second day, several staff members rang my doorbell, including the housekeeping manager who gave me a flower and asked me to take a photo—an awkward moment for a solo traveler. For the ladies, note that they don’t provide conditioner and the bathroom lighting is a bit dark for makeup. If you stay in a ground‑floor villa, be aware of some noise from the units above, but it’s not too bad if you have good neighbors.
